Even though it is not valuable for my country, which has taken a serious distance from science, and is increasingly distant from scientific merit, it is a great feeling to be seen in international indicators. After all, my heart wants this country to go much, much further. That is why, personally, being able to do this much makes me very happy. Who knows, the times may turn, and our country may catch up with the age of artificial intelligence; it will not suffer serious losses like in the industrial age, and it will not remain that backward and poor.

Bilimle arasına ciddi mesafe koyan, bilimsel liyakatten her geçen gün daha çok uzaklaşan ülkem için değerli olmasa da, uluslararası göstergelerde görünmek harika bir duygu. Sonuçta, gönlüm, bu ülkenin çok ama çok ileri gitmesini istiyor. Bu yüzden de, kişisel olarak bu kadarını yapabilmek bile beni çok mutlu ediyor. Kim bilir, devran döner, ülkemiz yapay-zeka çağını yakalar; endüstri devrindeki gibi ciddi kayıplara uğramaz, o kadar geri ve yoksul kalmaz.

In memory of our renowned colleague Professor Vyacheslav Pavlovich Zakharyuta, who passed away in Konstanz at the age of 88 last Sunday, March 9, 2025, the seventh International Workshop on Nonlinear Analysis and its Applications will be organized in Ankara, Turkey, from the 3rd to the 5th of September 2025, by Atılım University.

At this workshop, a special session will be held for Professor Zakharyuta, on 4th of September 2025, during which his colleague and co-author Professor Murat Yurdakul will give a talk. Erdal Karapinar, one of Professor Zakharyuta’s students in Türkiye, will also give a talk at the same meeting.

At the same time, a page in memory of Professor Zakharyuta is being prepared on the workshop’s homepage.

Ünlü meslektaşımız Profesör Vyacheslav Pavlovich Zakharyuta’nın 9 Mart 2025 Pazar günü 88 yaşında Konstanz’da vefat etmesi anısına, Atılım Üniversitesi tarafından 3-5 Eylül 2025 tarihleri arasında Ankara, Türkiye’de yedinci Uluslararası Doğrusal Olmayan Analiz ve Uygulamaları Çalıştayı düzenlenecektir.
